What to expect when you come to The Avenue
This is the place to start if you are new! We’re so glad you have decided to check out our church. Please have a look around our site to see what we’re all about.
Everything in our church is designed to glorify God and help you become a disciple who makes disciples. In a typical Sunday service, our worship band will lead us in some powerful songs, we often use videos and other elements in order to help focus our service on the Bible, and we will listen to a sermon that is focused on applying God’s Word to your life.
In short, we simply want to create an environment and experience that will allow you to experience the love of God in community.
Your First Visit:
As you approach our meeting location, you’ll see us at the corner of 17th and Custer Ave. Some of our members will be standing at the door to greet you as you enter and to welcome you to our church. They will be dressed comfortably. Some people may feel more comfortable in a suit and others may choose a t-shirt. We want you to feel welcome regardless of your clothes because we care more about your heart than your wardrobe.
-We will show you where you can drop your kids off for our Little Lambs (newborns through preschool) ministry. You can feel secure that your kids will have a great time while they learn about the Bible!
-The main service begins at 11:00am. Our goal is to be welcoming and make a place you feel welcome to learn about God.

Wednesday: Children's (Pre-K-6th) 6:00 &Youth 7-12th grades, Adult Small Groups 7:00PM
